KV-2 - Soviet Heavy Breakthrough Tank of World War 2

The history of one of the most impressive armoured vehicles of all times dates back to the experiences with Soviet over-heavy tank development in the 1930s. The KV-2 saw combat on the Eastern Front against the Wehrmacht in 1941/42 and the impression it left on the battlefield was truly "colossal".

This is the first comprehensive documentation on this landmark in Soviet heavy tank development and also includes the use of the KV-2 within the German Wehrmacht.
